“Oh, I’ve heard about this,” you say excitedly. “This is the part where I get locked in a room with some prominent trainer and people will rumour about what happened for days, right?” How could you not have heard of it? This was the highlight of the evening, every girl who read the magazines dreamt about attending this ball and playing this game. Of course, there was nothing to guarantee you’d end up with someone you’d like, but there was quite a high chance, statistically speaking.
In your case, it was no secret to anyone who you hoped to end up with. Ever since you were young you had been smitten with the Hoenn region champion, Steven Stone. He was the perfect gentleman, and so dedicated to everything he did. His roguish good looks might also have contributed just a little bit. But surely, no one would be that lucky.
“Oh, how I could have expected you to not know of this?” White replies. She shakes her head and sighs at you, boy-crazy as ever. “Well, I can’t promise anything, but do you want me to lend a hand? I think I can find you a good match!” She giggles mischievously and you are reminded of why the two of you make such good friends. You don’t even have to reply, the grin on your face says enough.
After White had gathered everyone’s items in her bag she calls you over first of anyone. Like she instructed, you don’t search through the bag and instead grab the first thing within reach.
“Is this a moon stone?” you ask, holding the dark rock up for everyone to see.
A familiar face moves towards you with a friendly smile. “Astute observation. This one is mine.” He gently takes the item from your hands and as he does envelops your small hand with his far larger ones and takes you with him to the separate room.
You can’t believe this! White actually did it, you’re going to be spending these minutes alone with the man you’ve adored for so long! Your heart feels like it could beat right out of your chest and your face is glowing with heat. Steven can feel it too, you just know it.
“I-I um, it’s such an honor to meet you! I’ve admired you for quite some time!” you stammer.
“Please,” Steven motions, wearing a somewhat awkward expression on his face, “you’re a dexholder now, we’re all equals here. I am just another trainer like you. Why don’t you tell me a little about yourself? It’s good for me to get to know the new generation of trainers as well.”
Ouch. You weren’t off to a good start. You don’t even know what to tell him. “Well, um, my name is _____, and I’m from Kalos. My aspirations are to join the Kalos Elite Four one day!”
“That’s a noble goal, but it’s also hard work. Being an Elite is more than a full time job, you barely have time for yourself. That’s why I retired from being the champion. Of course, I’m not trying to dissuade you! I’m just giving some advice.”
You appreciate it. Every word that he speaks is like honey. You aren’t going to kiss him, you know that, but you are strangely okay with the development. Honestly, rather than something physical, you want to get to know him. You spend the rest of your time talking about the trials and tribulations of being a prominent trainer and you feel like you can see Steven as a person now, not just a faraway idol.
When White comes in to see you having friendly conversation, not even close to touching, she sends you a surprised look. You simply shrug at her, a dreamy smile stuck to your face. You’ll have to talk about this later.
“Steven, I’m really glad we got this opportunity to talk. Do you want to continue this conversation over a drink, maybe? It’s my treat!” you offer as you get up.
“I would like nothing rather,” he replies, and you feel like this could not have gone better if you tried.

Fragments - Steven Stone X Reader
"These ones are absolutely beautiful, _____! The way they've been eroded over the years and have obtained this form is simply amazing, don't you think?"
You sighed a little, turning to look at the owner of the voice.
"Uh-huh. They’re pretty, Steven," you murmured softly, glancing at the stone in your boyfriend’s hands quickly, before meeting his gaze.
You and Steven had been dating for almost two years. You'd met when he had been travelling around Johto, and had travelled together for a brief time while you had been out on your Pokemon journey. Those few short weeks you were together was all it took for the young man to steal y

Lost~Steven stone x reader
(I didn't see too many so i decided to write one. Yes there is swearing)
"God dammit, why did I have to get lost in this shitty ass cave?" You mumble to yourself. You were on your pokemon journey with your precious Torchic, Shroomish, and Ralts. You happen to be in Dewford town, about to get your second gym badge, but you had promised the head of Devon corporation that you would deliver a letter. You were told that the person would be in Granite cave.
But as stupid as you were, you should have gone to the gym first to be able to use the hm flash. Torchic tried to light the way by using ember but it wasn't strong enough and soon after you be

The stars are clearly visible amidst dark skies tonight, despite all the lights emitting from the town square. The fire of several Chandelures and Litwicks glows against lively market stalls, and the streets are brimming with customers. Music reaches every corner of the town, and laughter fills the air.
The centre of the square is your stage; the moon, your spotlight. Tambourines form a steady beat as you wave sheer white sashes around your body, bare feet gliding across the pavement.
You've been dancing for this festiva
